How did Isaiah respond to the command to loose the sackcloth and take off his sandals, and walk naked and barefoot?
Isaiah obeyed immediately, although he was not told the reason for the command. We can conclude that he went about in this way constantly. Although he was not completely naked, he was dressed in a way that would attract attention everywhere he went. It was unacceptable to be without a cloak in public, except when performing labour or running (see John 13:4 and Mark 10:50). He would have had to face cold, rain, and ridicule without his cloak; yet, he did not hesitate to obey the Lord.
