What is the similarity between the four items the apostles could take along on their missionary journey and those that the Israelites could take on their journey from Egypt?

In both instances, the bare necessities signify urgency and haste to serve God in a new venture. As with the exodus, so the sending of the Twelve should be characterized as journeys free from self-made encumbrances to serve God.1
