What does 1 Samuel 13 reveal about what God does in my place and on my behalf (the work of the Son)?
Jesus Christ is God’s true King who perfectly obeyed God’s law no matter what circumstances he found himself in. As a result of his obedience unto death, he was resurrected from the grave and vindicated as God’s chosen King. He now rules at the Father’s right hand and will return in glory to judge all people. As a result of his obedience he has received an everlasting kingdom.
