What does 1 Samuel 7 reveal about who God the Father is?
The Lord is God. He is not an idol like Baal or Ashtaroth. He demands exclusive allegiance.
The Lord is powerful. He controls nature.
The Lord is gracious. He blesses his people even though they have not been perfectly obedient.
The Lord is faithful. Covenant disobedience is met with covenant curses. Covenant obedience (albeit imperfect) is met with covenant blessings.
