The justice of God is not short-term or intermittent. Satan’s placement in the lake of fire knows no end; from here there is no escape, ever. This speaks to the infinite wrath of God as well as to his eternal justice on account of what Satan did to God’s honour and to God’s world. The crushing of the seed of the serpent is eternal and eternally painful.
