What does 1 Samuel 11 reveal about what God does in my place and on my behalf (the work of the Son)?
Jesus Christ is God’s true King who brings about the great reversal (1 Samuel 2:1–10). He came to defeat Satan and death. He came to ensure that God’s people can look forward to eternal life in his presence. He died the death that sinners deserve and lived the perfect life in our place.
