What is significant about the LORD addressing Moses in this case?

In contrast to the previous chapter where the Lord speaks to Moses and Aaron, the narrative moves back to addressing Moses as the mediator (cf. Leviticus 11:1). While the Lord addresses Moses, the reader must bear in mind that the following instructions are for the priesthood (Leviticus 10:10).
