After God has made man, he blesses him and repeats the task given to man. God’s blessing has great significance when it comes to this commission God gives to man(kind). God’s blessing and his anointing have everything to do with each other. When someone was anointed in God’s name, it meant that the Lord appointed that person for a certain task and then promised to give the necessary ability through his Spirit. The Lord not only provides a certain task but also the blessing over it. His blessing means that man is given the strength to carry out this task. God’s blessing is man’s guarantee that he is able to carry out the given task.
