The lifestyle of the righteous will deliver them because they live according to God’s Word. By living this righteous life, God will keep them safe from being overwhelmed by evil. But the treacherous who live wicked lives will be taken captive by their lust. The desires and passions of their heart, which is governed by their sin, will keep them trapped so that they will pursue after evil.
