Ésaïe 13:5 (NEG79)

5 Ils viennent d'un pays lointain, De l'extrémité des cieux: L'Eternel et les instruments de sa colère Vont détruire toute la contrée.

The enemy is coming from a distant land not yet revealed in this verse, but which we later know to be Persia. What is clear is that they are instruments of God’s wrath—they are not coming by their own volition but because the Lord has called them to destroy Babylon.
