What does Philemon reveal about who God the Father is? God is gracious. He does not treat sinners as they deserve (Philemon 1:3).

God is sovereign. He is at work in this world to bring about the conversion of his elect (Philemon 1:10) in ways that we do not understand (Philemon 1:15).
