Revelation of God the Holy Spirit

Actes 8:1–25 (NEG79)

1 Saul avait approuvé le meurtre d'Etienne. Il y eut, ce jour-là, une grande persécution contre l'Eglise de Jérusalem; et tous, excepté les apôtres, se dispersèrent dans les contrées de la Judée et de la Samarie.

What does Acts 8:1b–25 reveal about what God does in and through me (the work of the Holy Spirit)? God the Holy Spirit will empower believers to confess Christ to their friends and family. He will also help office-bearers to faithfully and clearly preach Christ and use that preaching to bring God’s elect to true faith (Romans 10:17). Finally, he is at work to transform our hearts and minds as we hear, read, and reflect on God’s truth (Psalm 1:1–6; Romans 12:1–2). One of the ways he changes my thinking is to help me see all Christians as brothers and sisters and to realize that there is no place for pagan ideas in God’s church.
