Moses was adopted as son of Pharaoh’s daughter (Exodus 2:10). This makes one wonder if he felt like an Egyptian or an Israelite? Exodus 2:11 suggests that he felt commitment toward the Hebrews and their oppression. The Hebrews are called his own people
twice. In the Hebrew language it is written his brothers.
