There could be many reasons for her to fear. She may not want people to know that she broke the Mosaic Law by making contact with Jesus in her impure state. She might be embarrassed that her act has prevented Jesus from getting to Jairus’s house sooner. But the most obvious reason is surely that she is in awe of Jesus’ healing power. This is a right reverence of Jesus which sends her to her knees before him.
