Honor everyone
is a catch-all phrase permitting no exceptions. A Christian need not agree with someone’s thoughts, words, or actions in order to honor
him—just as the Lord did not agree with our thoughts, words, or actions before he sent his Son to ransom us (Romans 5:10). Persons of any race or creed or orientation or social standing, etc., should experience that he has value in the estimation of Christians. There is simply no place for looking down on anyone.
17 Honorez tout le monde; aimez les frères; craignez Dieu; honorez le roi.
