Commentary on Psalm 74:3 (Summary)

The ruins refer to the temple that was destroyed. The once impressive temple had been in ruin so long, that the psalmist calls them perpetual ruins. According to the psalmist, the destruction of God’s house was the greatest abomination committed by the enemy, even greater than the misery and death caused by the Babylonians.
