What does Acts 2:14-36 reveal about who God the Father is? God is powerful. Through his Spirit God works wonders in this world and equips his people for service.
God is a Saviour. All those who call on the name of the Lord will be saved from his wrath on the day of judgment.
God is concerned for truth. Jesus of Nazareth was accredited by God with miracles, wonders, and signs so that people could know that he is the Messiah.
God is sovereign. From the beginning God determined that the Son would take on human flesh and be crucified in order to atone for the sins of God’s people. Additionally, everything which happened to Jesus was prophesied in Scripture and spoken of before it came to pass.
God speaks. God makes promises to people. He promised David that one of his descendants would be placed on his throne.
God is involved in this world. God raised Jesus to life. He did not abandon him to the grave or let his body see decay.
