Leviticus 7:11 uses the same introductory formula as Leviticus 7:1. In this new section, the role of the priests in the various types of peace offerings is prescribed. Additionally, Leviticus 7:11–17 includes a number of details which are not found elsewhere in Leviticus about the purpose and conduct of the peace offering.
