Leviticus 7:1–38 marks the end of the first major section in the book. The first seven chapters of Leviticus deal with the offerings and sacrifices that are a part of the Israelite religion. Chapters 8–10 shift the reader’s attention to the consecration of the first priests, namely Aaron and his sons.
