The grain offering is called a thing most holy,
but this may be translated more literally as a holy of holies.
This is reiterated by the requirement that the grain offering was not to be baked with leaven. As seen previously, leaven symbolized corruption. By including this requirement again, the priests are reminded that even in partaking in their dues, they should not bring corruption upon themselves. Since the individual Israelite’s offering is the loyalty offering, the priests who partake of it ought to share the same spiritual concern of the offerer in their eating.
