Happiness is the North American dream. It is the one thing that everyone wants. It does not matter if you are a Christian, a Muslim, or an atheist who does not believe in God at all; we all want happiness. The problem is that too often the American dream is nothing more than a dream; happiness is so often fleeting and out of reach. It is like holding a snowflake. We touch it too long and it melts away. The reason that it is so often fleeting is that we look for happiness in the wrong places and go to the wrong people to find it. We will not find blessed happiness in the company of the wicked (Psalm 1:1). We can only find it in God's law (Psalm 1:2).
