Philippiens 1:8 (NEG79)

8 Car Dieu m'est témoin que je vous chéris tous avec la tendresse de Jésus-Christ.

Paul says that he longs deeply for the Philippians. They may be convinced of this: God is his witness. It is a desire with the affection of Christ Jesus. Paul’s love for the church is more than human sympathy. The loving compassion of Christ gives depth to Paul’s love.
