Interestingly, from the very beginning, Jesus used common people (fishermen!) to spread the good news of the kingdom. He himself will leave the world in three years’ time, but his message is still being spread, all over the world. He still uses people for that!
16 Passing alongside the Sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and Andrew the brother of Simon casting a net into the sea, for they were fishermen.
