What is the irony of Exodus 2:7-9?

Exodus 2:7–9 (ESV)

7 Then his sister said to Pharaoh’s daughter, “Shall I go and call you a nurse from the Hebrew women to nurse the child for you?”

Moses’ mother is paid by the daughter of the Pharaoh for the child that, according to the order of the Pharaoh, had to be killed. The mother gets her child back from the death in the water, and she is under protection of Pharaoh’s daughter from the soldiers (or spies) of Pharaoh.
