Who was the author of the miracles?

Acts 19:11 (ESV)

11 And God was doing extraordinary miracles by the hands of Paul,

Luke stresses that God was the one who did extraordinary miracles through Paul. This is important to note. God was behind all these acts of power, and not Paul. God himself decided to demonstrate his power to the Ephesians through the hands of Paul.
