What figure of speech is used here?

Revelation 5:3 (ESV)

3 And no one in heaven or on earth or under the earth was able to open the scroll or to look into it,

“No one in heaven or on earth or under the earth” is an example of a merism. It could have been summarized with “no one.” What is stressed here is the fact that truly no one is worthy to open the scroll.
