1. Judges 10:9 (ESV)
  2. Exposition

What is significant about Judah’s being attacked?

Judges 10:9 (ESV)

9 And the Ammonites crossed the Jordan to fight also against Judah and against Benjamin and against the house of Ephraim, so that Israel was severely distressed.

The fact that Ammon attacked Judah is unique. This is the first time in the book of Judges that the tribe of Judah was affected by the oppression of a foreign enemy.
