Escaping what we deserve when God scrutinizes us

Zephaniah 1:7–13 (ESV)

7 Be silent before the Lord GOD! For the day of the LORD is near; the LORD has prepared a sacrifice and consecrated his guests.

Christ was the only one whose every moment was without reproach. Otherwise, there would be no hope for us. His perfect righteousness and sacrificial death cover us.
