Zephaniah 1:13 points back to Zephaniah 1:8–12 by summarizing the three groups condemned therein: Royal and temple personnel lose their palaces and wealth; the wealthy and the merchants lose their houses; and the ones resting on their lees in apathy cannot taste their wine.
