15 “As for me, Daniel, my spirit within me was anxious, and the visions of my head alarmed me.

Daniel is startled by the hard times God’s people will experience. He is struck by the fact that believers will need to endure mockery and severe oppression for so long. There are powers that are still far ahead in history for Daniel and from which the saints will have to endure much.
