Commentary on Habakkuk 1:5–11 (Summary)

Habakkuk 1:5–11 (ESV)

5 “Look among the nations, and see; wonder and be astounded. For I am doing a work in your days that you would not believe if told.

God answered Habakkuk by telling him what he was going to do in response to his prayer. He was to raise up the Babylonian nation to fulfill his purposes in the lives of his people and proceeded to describe their identity, way of living, and how they conducted themselves in battle.
