The numerous terms used to refer to God is slightly unusual and found elsewhere only in Psalm 50:1–23. An alternative translation is, The Lord God of gods
(NKJV). It is most likely a creedal statement by which the eastern tribes affirm their orthodox belief that the Lord is God. They are not busy serving other gods.
