God's goodness never ceases

Psalm 44:1 (ESV)

1 O God, we have heard with our ears, our fathers have told us, what deeds you performed in their days, in the days of old:

The sum of the whole is, that God had manifested his goodness towards the children of Abraham, not only for ten or twenty years, but that ever since he had received them into his favor, he had never ceased to bestow upon them continued tokens of his grace.
