Commentary on 1 Corinthians 11:12 (Summary)

1 Corinthians 11:12 (ESV)

12 for as woman was made from man, so man is now born of woman. And all things are from God.

Eve was created from Adam. In her turn, she became the mother of all living (Genesis 3:20). Without the man there would be no women, and without women there would be no more men. These facts, however, may not cause either the man or the woman to boast. It is God who has made them who they are.
