Commentary on 1 Corinthians 7:23 (Summary)

1 Corinthians 7:23 (ESV)

23 You were bought with a price; do not become bondservants of men.

Instead of focusing on one's social position, a believer should remember the great price at which he was bought: the blood shed by Christ on the cross. The life of a believer is defined not by his social position, but by his relation to Christ.
