Christ as perfecter and founder of our faith

Hebrews 11:1–40 (ESV)

1 Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.

In Hebrews 11:1–40 the believers in the Old Testament are models of faith, stimulating examples. It gives us new motivation when you look at them. But the One who thrones in heaven and is with us in the Spirit is Jesus. Look at him, the perfecter and founder of our faith (Hebrews 12:2).
