Where does the new birth take us?

1 John 5:4 (ESV)

4 For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world our faith.

The birth by God (the new birth) is a supernatural event that takes us out of the domain of the world that is under Satan’s influence and rule, and into the family of God.
