Are you busy living in a story of your own creation—a story that helps you to resist God’s revelation and reject the claims of Jesus Christ? A story that comforts you with false hope and promises that all will be well even if you are not reconciled to God? A story that in the words of Paul allows you to keep on sinning so that grace may abound (Romans 6:1)?
The pleasures of this world are fleeting; they will pass. But eternal life with God in glory is everlasting, it is a life that can never be taken away, and it is a joy that we have already begun to experience if we have faith in Jesus Christ. Let us make sure we respond to the truth of who he is with worship and obedience.
