What is love?

1 John 5:2 (ESV)

2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and obey his commandments.

True love includes a willingness to lay down one’s life for the sake of another. With relation to God, this means a life of willing obedience, to love to do what he loves done, to delight to do his will (Psalm 40:8).
