What does Ezra 9 reveal about what God the Son does in my place and on my behalf?
God the Son came to bear the burden of God’s wrath against my sin so that God can at the same time be just and the one who justifies sinners. My sin is punished since it is paid for by Jesus Christ (therefore God remains just in forgiving me my sin).
