The truth about God’s grace and righteousness should encourage us to confess our sins daily, and trust in Jesus Christ for forgiveness. Ezra laments and confesses the sins of Israel; we should lament and confess our own sins to God. In Ezra’s prayer, we find an example of what such a prayer of confession might look like.
