  2. Exposition

What is ironic about Israel being sold into the hand of the Canaanites?

Judges 4:2 (ESV)

2 And the LORD sold them into the hand of Jabin king of Canaan, who reigned in Hazor. The commander of his army was Sisera, who lived in Harosheth-hagoyim.

Canaan was under the curse as “a servant of servants” (Genesis 9:25), and now they rule Israel, the righteous.
