Proverbs 15:27 (ESV)

27 Whoever is greedy for unjust gain troubles his own household, but he who hates bribes will live.

God’s laws for economic life cannot be trespassed without consequences. Bribes bring trouble, both for households and for countries, but “the one who hates bribes will live.”
