Commentary on Proverbs 14:32 (Summary)

Proverbs 14:32 (ESV)

32 The wicked is overthrown through his evildoing, but the righteous finds refuge in his death.

It is often said that believers under the old covenant had no notion of life after death. Yet this is far from true, as we see from this proverb and from Martha’s confession of faith in John 11:24. That there will be a resurrection is something that the church of all ages has confessed.
