Esther 9:7–9 (ESV)

The ten sons of Haman are mentioned by name. Probably they were key figures in the attack on the Jews in the citadel of Susa. By attacking the Jews, they might have wished to regain their father’s property, or at least to avenge his death. But the most important reason for their actions is given in the following verse.
