Commentary on 2 Kings 5:16 (Summary)

2 Kings 5:16 (ESV)

16 But he said, “As the LORD lives, before whom I stand, I will receive none.” And he urged him to take it, but he refused.

Elisha refuses the gift. He doesn’t say why, only that he serves the LORD. He wants Naaman to discover for himself what he needs to do.
