9 Queen Vashti also gave a feast for the women in the palace that belonged to King Ahasuerus.

The women who lived in the palace were treated to a separate feast by Queen Vashti. She was not the only wife of King Ahasuerus (he had a whole harem), but she was the queen and his favourite.
