Previously the Servant was confident that because of the Lord’s help, he would not be put to shame (Isaiah 50:7), and that the verdict would go his way (Isaiah 50:8). Now he reaffirms his confidence by pointing again to the help of the Lord, who will defend him from guilty charges.1
9 Behold, the Lord GOD helps me; who will declare me guilty? Behold, all of them will wear out like a garment; the moth will eat them up.
