Why would the Servant indicate he was not rebellious?

This Servant has the ability to hear and speak well. He was given a message that apparently included sharp reproof of the nation’s sin, and as such he would run into opposition. The Servant knew this. But instead of refusing his task that accompanied his gifts, he did not turn away from his assignment; he was not rebellious, in contrast to what a faithless servant would have done (Jeremiah 18:22).¹
