17 you whose garments are hot when the earth is still because of the south wind?

Elihu reminds Job of his weakness and dependence. Humans are virtually powerless in the face of weather conditions. If the cold does not stop us in our tracks (Job 37:7), then the hot desert winds make us sweat in our clothes.
